TUIDE Laboratory @UNICAMP

The TUIDE (Lower Urinary Tract Dysfunction and Erectile Dysfunction) laboratory at Faculty of Medical Sciences (FCM), State University of Campinas (Unicamp) focuses on assessing alterations in the cyclic nucleotide pathways in lower urinary tract disorders including erectile dysfunction, overactive bladder and benign prostatic hyperplasia.
Their research employs cell culture, experimental models and samples of tissues derived from patients. Additionally, they are actively engaged in repurposing drugs to create more efficient treatments for these conditions, although their testing is currently limited to experimental and in vitro models.
