CDRC
The Cure Drug Repurposing Collaboratory’s (CDRC) mission is to become the global, public source of validated real-world data to advance drug repurposing for diseases with the highest levels of unmet medical need. The Collaboratory is led by the Critical Path Institute (C-Path) and works in a transparent, open forum, with a diverse set of global stakeholders to enable the global health community to openly share patient treatment outcomes though CURE ID, generate real-world evidence to develop hypotheses to further evaluate existing approved drug candidates for new treatments, and inform the design of clinical trials of existing marketed drugs for new indications.
They believe that real-world evidence can be used to help guide how existing drugs can be used in new ways to improve clinical outcomes for diseases when approved therapies are unavailable or have been exhausted.
